SANDS

The series "Sands" is my first venture into the fascinating field of Black & White Photography.
The great dunes on the island of Gran Canary, the coastline of Sylt in Northern Germany as well as the beaches on the Boston South Shore were my inspiration. The play of light, the ever shifting shapes and textures are more sharply defined and stand out clear and crisp in Black & White.
I hope that looking at these images you can hear the wind and feel the sun just as I did during these moments of solitude in the amidst nature.

SANDS

Die Serie "Sands" ist mein erster Ausflug in die faszinierende Welt der Schwarzweiss Fotografie.
Die grossen Dünen auf der Insel Gran Canaria, die Küste Sylts und die Strände an der Südküste von Boston haben mich dazu inspiriert.
Das Spiel des Lichts, die immerfort ändernden Formen und Muster erscheinen im Schwarzweiss schärfer definiert und umrissen.
